What to consider when buying a laptop computer.
1. Processor(CPU) type: there are two CPU types that's Intel and AMD. AMD is subject to overheating and many compatibility issues. Intel is preferred especially i3, i5 and i7. These Processors have the clockspeed that is enough to give you feel for your money.
2. RAM capacity. Mostly most of the current heavy computer programs require 4GB RAM to operate well. But well 3GB is enough.
3. Hard disk capacity. Hard disk stors data permanently and is where OS is installed. HDD must have enough capacity to meet your storage demands. I wouldn't advise 500GB.
4. Computer type/brand. As a computer Engineer with 10years experience, I have used HP Compaq CQ62, HP pavilion, Lenovo e10-30, Acer aspire, Dell Latitude, HP Envy, HP Elitebook , Samsung. As a Senior ICT Consultant at Afritech Innovation Solutions, I always recommend my customers who want low cost but genuine computers to buy Dell or Lenovo computers for their reliability, compatibility and interoperability.
