This system has been   designed to bridge the language gap between Runyankole speaking natives and English speaking natives or foreigners in Uganda.

At present human interpreters who are commonly used pose communication efficiencies which include distorting the message, high costs of hire and transportation and emotional effects and disturbances.

In this situation the system proposed sufficed the purpose reasonably well and minimizes the communication inefficiencies for both socio-economic development of Uganda and reduces the hindrance posed by the language barrier.

 The developed system which is English to Runyankole speech translation system. that aimed at developing a desktop application called "TRANSTOOL” that inputs English Speech and then outputs Runyankole speech maintaining the voice of the speaker, English to Runyankole speech system was developed to meet the main- objective of translation English speech to Runyankole speech.
